House-Made Sausages

Savenor's own house-made sausages are hand-crafted by our butchers at our brick and mortar store in Cambridge, MA.

To create these delicious links, we take carefully measure out the ideal protein-to-fat ratio, mix in freshly ground spices, combine with any herbs or ingredients specific to each sausage style and tradition, and finally pipe the sausages by hand.

We may rotate the flavors now and then or offer limited-time creations, so check back often or sign up for our newsletter to stay updated!

Sold in 1 lb packs of about approx. 3 sausages per pack, vacuum-packed.

Sweet or Spicy Italian(Pork)

Italian sausage comes in two main varieties: spicy, which has a bold kick from red pepper flakes, and sweet, which is flavored with fennel, garlic, and herbs for a more mellow taste. It’s incredibly versatile and works wonderfully in pasta dishes, like a hearty sausage and pepper rigatoni, or can be grilled and served in a sandwich with sautéed onions and peppers.

Pot-Sticker(Pork)

Pot-sticker sausage is a savory, seasoned sausage inspired by the flavors of Chinese potstickers, often made with ground pork, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and a touch of sesame oil. It adds a deliciously rich and aromatic flavor when steamed, making it a great addition to soups like wonton or noodle soup, where it complements the broth and other ingredients beautifully.

Chorizo (Pork)

Chorizo sausage is a bold, flavorful sausage made from pork and seasoned with smoky paprika, garlic, and chili, offering a rich, spicy kick. It’s perfect for crumbling into dishes like scrambled eggs or paella, where its smoky depth enhances the flavors of the entire dish.

Merguez(Lamb)

Lamb merguez sausage, encased in pork casing, is a spicy, flavorful sausage made from minced lamb and a blend of aromatic spices like cumin, coriander, garlic, and paprika. Its rich, zesty profile makes it a perfect addition to dishes like couscous, or you can grill it and serve it in a pita with fresh vegetables and yogurt for a Mediterranean-inspired meal.
